Monetary Donation Ideas
Speedway Christian Church is thankful for all monetary donations to the church, whether through regular giving or special gifts.
Here are some special donation ideas for your consideration.
Do you want to remember or honor a loved one or friend? You may recognize loved ones/friends at the time of their passing or while they are still living through monetary donations to the Memorial Fund of the church.
Do you have a specific purpose in mind? Sometimes persons have a particular interest they want to support. Some familiar recipients of donations include: the Christian Education department for camperships and improvements to the Sunday School rooms; World Outreach department for hunger relief and housing needs in the greater Indianapolis area; Music department for new music for the choirs or upkeep of the organ and piano; and the Property department for maintenance of the church building (e.g. furnace, roof, paint, landscaping). We’d be happy to discuss ideas with you.
Additionally, contributions towards the retirement of the church building Renovation debt are always appreciated. Be a part of helping to retire this debt; we are getting close.
Do you want your money to benefit the church into the future? The church has an endowment fund called the Perpetual (Endowment) Fund. Monetary gifts are invested, and as other gifts are added over time, the endowment fund continues to increase. The earnings are spent annually for the benefit of the church.
What about remembering Speedway Christian Church in my will? The church is deeply grateful for bequests of any amount and kind. The church Trustees work with the deceased’s representatives to fulfill the wishes of the giver.
