Juan Andrés Mesa arrived in Indiana in 2006 and completed his Master of Music degree in Organ Performance at Indiana University in 2008, studying with Dr. Christopher Young. Currently, he is a second year student in the Ph. D program in Music Theory at Indiana University, and works as Assistant Instructor teaching undergraduate music theory and aural skill courses. He comes with church experience in the Episcopal, Roman Catholic and Lutheran traditions. Juan’s most recent church position was Assistant Organist at Trinity Episcopal Church here in Indianapolis. Juan is a most gifted musician and an exciting addition to our worship!
