 | The Reverand Doug Kriz Senior Minister
Doug Kriz became
the Senior Minister of Speedway Christian Church in July
of 2006 after serving for five years as the Associate Minister. Doug received his Masters
of Divinity degree from Lexington Theological Seminary and an undergraduate degree from
Texas Christian University. |

He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Practical Theology from
Christian Theological Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his wife Meredith, who
is also an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and daughter
Rachel. Doug enjoys woodworking, traveling and tinkering with any gadgets he can get his
hands on. Doug values a healthy mix of passion, humor and scholarship in his ministry to
Speedway Christian Church. |

 | The Reverand Randy Kuss Director of Christian Education
Randy is a Disciples minister with over 30 years experience in congregational, regional, and
denominational Christian education and youth ministries. He served as Director of Youth Ministries
for the Disciples of Christ from 1995 to 2003. Along with his ministries here with Speedway, Randy
developed and conducts God@Center Retreats, spiritual renewal retreats for youth workers and other
church leaders. Randy's family is active with Allisonville Christian Church where his wife,
Rev. Deb Strock-Kuss, serves as associate minister. They have two children, Georgia and Blaine. |

 | The Reverend Joe Ridenour Minister of Pastoral Care - Part Time
Rev. Joe Ridenour came to Speedway Christian Church in 1973 as Minister of Music. He was ordained at Speedway
Christian Church in 1975 and served as Associate Minister in several pastoral roles in the church along with
ministry of music until 1989. In 1995 he retired from Trafalgar Christian Church and in 1996 returned to Speedway
as Minister of Pastoral Care, part time. He lives with his wife Sandy in Brown County, Indiana and is also
active at St. David's Episcopal Church in Bean Blossom where he directs the choir. |

 | Marge Graham Director of Worship and Fine Arts
Marge Graham joined the staff at Speedway in January of 2008. She comes to the position of Director of Worship
and Fine Arts with over 30 years of church music experience, serving in Christian (Disciples of Christ)
congregations in Missouri, Indiana and Ohio. She most recently was the Director of Music at First Presbyterian
Church in Lee's Summit, MO. Marge is a graduate of Phillips University. She enjoys directing church choirs of
all ages and instrumental groups, as well. Besides the church, her other passion in life are her 3 grown
daughters and her 5 grandchildren. |

 | Kris Workman Business Manager
Kris Workman is the Business Manager for Speedway Christian Church. She is a graduate of Michigan Christian
College. After having taught in the public school system for two years, Kris and her husband decided to
start a family. She was a stay at home mom for ten years before beginning her work with Speedway Christian
Church in 1989. Kris enjoys spending time with her family, doing various crafts and needlework and is an
avid football fan. |

 | Debbie Vines Director of Opportunity Day, Secretary
Opportunity Day Preschool is celebrating its 35th year in 2006-2007. Debbie Vines has been Director of Opportunity Day
since 1994. She enjoys seeing the children grow with every new experience they get and watching all the milestones they
obtain. When she in not busy with Opportunity Day obligations, Debbie also assists in keeping the office at Speedway
Christian Church running smoothly. |

 | Mark Powell Ministerial Intern
Mark joined the staff of Speedway Christian Church in August, 2007 as our ministerial intern during his final year in seminary. A native Chicagoan, Mark was born and raised Roman Catholic. He studied for the priesthood at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa graduating with a political science degree in 1980. After college, Mark was appointed to the American seminary at the Vatican for graduate theological study. After his first year in Rome, he left the seminary and had a successful 20 year career in radio broadcasting in Illinois, Kansas and Michigan. In 2000, he joined the staff of the Michigan House of Representatives serving as chief of staff to the chair of the Health Policy Committee. In 2002, he became protestant and three years later began his studies at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis. He served as the student associate minister at First Christian Church in Crawfordsville, IN in his first year of seminary. When Mark is not around the church or the seminary, he is with his wife Dona enjoying a movie, playing video games with his "tweener" daughter or on the golf course! |
