We offer this word of welcome to you:
“We live in a world where everyone is a stranger and nobody seems to care. Where people say 'How are you' and don’t ever wait for answers. Loneliness has become a way of life, and it’s neither healthy nor right.
At Speedway Christian Church the Spouses without Partners believe that through faith in Jesus Christ, and a realization of his unlimited love for us, we can get together to enjoy fellowship and help one another, to be of one heart and one mind”.
We welcome all of our church family who have experienced the loss of a spouse and are seeking support, friendship as they grieve, and are reaching out for a new direction in their life. A friend is one who comes IN when the whole world has gone OUT
Anyone interested in joining can contact the church office or Fred Hoerger.
We try to schedule an event once a month. In the past few years we have enjoyed:
- bus trips to several Indiana restaurants.
- picnics at Meadows Park.
- fall trips to Andersons or Beasley orchards.
- attend local area theater stage plays.
We also try to support church activities by hosting:
- Church Blood Drive.
- Monday Night Fellowship Dinner.
