Did you ever try to study the Bible but just didn't know where to begin? Or are you a "seasoned" Bible student looking for a place to share your love for the word with others? Well, we have a weekly bible study adventure and we have a place reserved just for you! If you are male or female, married or single, young or old, with a desire to learn more about God's word, then you meet all the qualifications to be a part of this group.
Have you ever wished you had more faith? We have the answer! Romans 10:17 says, So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes by the preaching of Christ. Hebrews 4:12 tells us that the word of God is living and active. Come be a part of our exciting journey through the Bible and let God's word become alive and active in you!
Mannafest Bible study meets every other Wednesday evening from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Check the church calendar for dates. We meet in the sanctuary of Speedway Christian Church, where we worship God through music, share praise and testimonies and learn the Word of God. Childcare is available every week. What Is Manna?
Found first in the old testament book of Exodus, Manna is the food that God miraculously provided to the Israelites when they were in the wilderness. Later in 1 Corinthians 10:3 Paul refers to the manna eaten by the Israelites as spiritual food; A symbol of the spiritual nourishment that God provides to us through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
For Jesus says in Mathew 4:4 “It is written: ‘man does live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God’.”
